Destaca la composición de página con las viñetas verticales del "presente" ocultando el espantoso crimen "futuro", todo entre comillas porque con Morrison nunca se sabe... Chris Burnham (Connecticut 1977) ya había trabajado con el guionista escocés en Batman Incorporated y su estilo recuerda al de Frank Quitely, quizá un poco más sucio y menos ordenado por lo que se adapta perfectamente el horror y locura de la historia. Respecto a la versión finalmente publicada, ha corregido la perspectiva del reloj y ha añadido la caja que contiene el hexacontágono en el centro de la mesa.
En cuanto a su método de trabajo y a la cooperación con el guionista, parece fácil, aunque quizá lo sería más si le diera también los diálogos por adelantado.
The easiest way to describe it is almost like I get a script from him about 24 pages long. Here's five panels of page or whatever it is. There will be a description of each panel. In Grant's case he doesn't write the dialog ahead of time, he'll give me a rough example of the sort of things the characters will be talking about but for the most part he doesn't write the dialog until he sees the artwork to make sure that he's not writing a long monologue for the people to say when I've only left him an inch of space above the character's head. He'll write the dialog after I've drawn the artwork. Then it's off to the colors and off to the letterer and then it's off to the printer.

Honestly, it’s as simple as Grant writes it, I draw it, and Nathan [Faibairn] colors it. You know, the scripts are so involved and strange and confusing that I always have a couple questions for Grant to clarify, but it’s mostly pretty minor like, "what does that Tarot card mean or what number should be on there".
